An excellent specimen of this scarce IW Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet Scabbard. These had a black japanned scabbard and this one has 90% or more of the original japanning. The 1874 Pattern frog is excellent and is stamped on the back, "6 V. CO." (6th Volunteer Company). Tight as new.
