Nickeled Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet Scabbard Body

An original nickeled .45/70 Trapdoor Rifle Bayonet Scabbard Body (no frog). This is the later style with the single, large lip that slips over the leather frog. No dents nor damage but the nickel is about 50% finely flaked so that it looks like pitting amidst the remaining nickel - but it isn't pitted. If you have a spare frog, this would be a way to complete a bayonet scabbard for just a few dollars. No photo currently available - probably later when I have more photography to do.
