Like New, British Made US M1924 First Aid Pouch

A very scarce item in that it is a 1943 production of the obsolescent M1924 First Aid Pouch. Ink-stamped inside, "M.E. Co. 1943 BRITISH MADE". This was made in preparation for the buildup to D-Day the following year and, apparently, the British were given the M1924 pattern to follow. A year later, the same company had switched over to production of the M1942. Measures 6 x 3 1/8 in.
