Very Good M1873 Leather Loop Trapdoor Bayonet Scabbard

A very clean M1873 Trapdoor Rifle Angular Bayonet Rifle Scabbard (leather loop). The leather throat and loop are shiny black leather and show no flaking. ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL-marked loop. The scabbard body has significant blue, some of which is turning brown. Excellent, sharp, brass "US" rosette on the face of the scabbard loop. Very slight corrosion on about 10% of the scabbard body.
