1875 Clothing Bag Sling Price: 30
In 1875, the Ordnance Dept. authorized a cloth and leather clothing bag sling for one of the clothing bags that had been part of the ill-fated Palmer Brace System. There were slight variations in these slings but they are relatively unknown in private collections. This sling is a museum quality reproduction of the original, including the buckle and type of cloth and makes an excellent example of the early Indian War sling that allowed the Palmer Bags to continue to be used.
